Shadow Gallery è una band americana di progressive metal formatasi nella Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, negli anni '80, originariamente con il nome Sorcerer. Dopo aver cambiato nome in Shadow Gallery (preso dal graphic novel V per Vendetta di Alan Moore) e aver registrato un breve demo di 8 tracce, la band è stata firmata da Magna Carta Records nel 1991. L'album d'esordio omonimo di Shadow Gallery è stato pubblicato l'anno successivo in Giappone ed Europa. A metà del 2005, Shadow Gallery ha pubblicato il quinto album in studio, Room V, sull'etichetta indipendente europea-americana InsideOut. Il gruppo è noto per la sua musica complessa e melodica, che fonde elementi di progressive rock, metal sinfonico e power metal. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano 'The Shadow Gallery', 'Room V', 'A New Dawn'.
