Dilated Peoples è un gruppo hip hop underground californiano formato da DJ Babu (produttore/DJ), Evidence (rapper e produttore) e Rakaa Iriscience (rapper). Attivi dal 1998, hanno raggiunto una certa notorietà nell'underground hip hop, pur non ottenendo grande successo mainstream negli Stati Uniti. Il loro brano "This Way", una collaborazione del 2004 con Kanye West, è stato il loro maggiore successo commerciale, raggiungendo la Top 40 della UK Singles Chart insieme a "Worst Comes to Worst". Tra i loro album più importanti ricordiamo *Neighborhood Watch* (2001) e *The Platform* (2006). Dilated Peoples sono noti per le loro rime intricate, le produzioni innovative e il loro approccio politico al rap.
