Jimmie's Chicken Shack è una rock band americana proveniente da Annapolis, Maryland. Considerati uno dei primi gruppi post-grunge, sono emersi grazie a MTV nel 1994. Il loro produttore, Richard James Burgess, li ha scoperti e gestiti. La band ha raggiunto un discreto successo negli anni '90 con il singolo "I'd Do Anything" che è stato incluso nell'album di debutto omonimo del 1995. Il sound di Jimmie's Chicken Shack si caratterizza per una combinazione di riff rock energici, melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Tra i brani più noti della band figurano anche "The Way It Is" e "You Don't Know Me".
