Scanner è una band tedesca di heavy metal, attiva dal 1989. Conosciuti per il loro stile veloce e melodico, hanno pubblicato diversi album in tutta la Germania. Sebbene non abbiano raggiunto fama internazionale, sono considerati un'importante realtà nel panorama metal tedesco. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si possono citare "The Last Stand", "Time Machine" e "Beyond the Gates".
