Videodrone sono stati una band alternative metal formatasi in California, USA, composta da cinque elementi. Originariamente chiamati Cradle of Thorns, hanno pubblicato un unico album sotto l'etichetta Elementree Records, fondata dai Korn. Il loro stile musicale si caratterizzava per sonorità pesanti e atmosfere dark, influenzate dal nu metal e dall'heavy metal. Nonostante la breve durata della band, Videodrone hanno lasciato un segno nel panorama underground metal americano con il loro album d'esordio, che ha riscosso apprezzamento da parte di critici e appassionati del genere.
