Terry Jacks (nato Terrence Ross Jacks) è un cantautore e musicista canadese nato a Vancouver nel 1946. È noto soprattutto per il suo successo internazionale del 1974 "Seasons in the Sun", una canzone che ha raggiunto la vetta delle classifiche in molti paesi, tra cui Canada, Stati Uniti e Regno Unito. Jacks ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60 come membro di un gruppo rock chiamato The Collectors. Dopo aver lasciato il gruppo, ha intrapreso una carriera da solista, pubblicando diversi album negli anni '70 e '80. "Seasons in the Sun", tratta dall'album "Givin' It Up", è diventata la sua canzone più famosa, rimanendo un classico amato dai fan di ogni generazione. Jacks continua ad esibirsi dal vivo e ha pubblicato nuovi album nel corso degli anni.
