Peaches è il progetto musicale di Merrill Nisker, un cantautore e produttore discografico canadese. Attivo dal 1990, Peaches ha raggiunto fama internazionale per la sua musica elettronica sperimentale, caratterizzata da testi provocatori e performance teatrali audaci. Nisker, nata in Canada ma cresciuta a Vancouver, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con band punk rock. Nel 1990 ha dato vita al progetto Peaches, pubblicando il suo primo album, "The Teaches of Peaches", nel 1997. L'album ha riscosso un successo di critica e ha introdotto il pubblico a uno stile musicale unico che mescolava elementi di techno, house, pop e rock con testi spesso espliciti e ironici. Peaches è nota per le sue performance energiche e provocatorie, caratterizzate da costumi sgargianti e coreografie audaci.
