David Lee Murphy è un cantautore e musicista country statunitense nato nel 1958 in Tennessee. È noto per il suo stile musicale che fonde elementi di musica country tradizionale con influenze rock e pop. Ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "Tryin' to Get There" (1995), "Out With A Bang" (1997) e "Gettin' Out the Good Stuff" (2000).
