Cruachan è una band heavy metal proveniente da Dublino, Irlanda, attiva dal 1990. Considerati pionieri del folk metal, sono noti per aver esplorato le frontiere del genere integrando elementi tradizionali irlandesi con sonorità metal pesanti. Il nome della band deriva dal sito archeologico di Rathcroghan in Irlanda, noto anche come Cruachan.
