Yeah it's 2015, high school's starting up again
She was hoping she would never see the summer end
She wasn't tryna go back to them other kids
Always makin' fun and shit, always tryna get her down
Always tryna rub it in
But you know the government wouldn't let her up and quit
So she had no choice, but maybe this year could be different
The voice in her head kept on saying
Walking in the first day with some hope in her chest
All she can do now was hope for the best
She was holding her breath, hoping not to make a scene
Maybe they'll forget about me like a dream, maybe I can start with my slate clean
Man, that's crazy, she never even made it to the age of 18
Even though I can't see you now
I know that you're around
Guaranteed I'mma hold it down for ya
And I don't wanna be alone
But that I can't control
Now I can't seem to let you go, so just
Stay with me (oh, oh, oh)
Stay with me (oh, oh, oh)
She was class of 2016
Would've been graduated only if she could've made it but she had too many mixed drinks
Now she's feeling kind of faded and she's all up in the arms of a guy that she barely even knows
Tries yelling out no but he's out of control
Now the whole school is saying she's a hoe
She feels like there's nowhere to go
And she walks in on Monday and everyone's laughing at what's posted up on the wall
The image on the bulletin made her wanna put a bullet in the back of her skull
She's asking "why'd I get involved?"
Blaming herself for what wasn't her fault
No one to call, just thinking about how she'd be gone by tomorrow
And everything solved, but nothing gets solved, nothing gets
Even though I can't see you now
I know that you're around
Guaranteed I'mma hold it down for ya
And I don't wanna be alone
But that I can't control
Now I can't seem to let you go, so just
Stay with me (oh, oh, oh) (stay with me, stay with me)
Stay with me (oh, oh, oh) (stay with me, stay with me)
I don't have the words to express right now
I don't have the words to express right now
But stay with me (oh, oh, oh)
Stay with me (stay with me, stay with me)
Even though I can't see you now
I know that you're around
And I don't wanna be alone
But that I can't control
Now I can't seem to let you go
Stay with me (oh, oh, oh)
Stay with me (oh, oh, oh) (stay with me, stay with me)
I don't have the words to express right now
I don't have the words to express right now
But stay with me (oh)
Stay with me (oh)
