Pop Smoke, pseudonimo di Bashar Barakah Jackson (1993-2020), è stato un rapper statunitense considerato uno dei pionieri del drill americano. Nato e cresciuto a Brooklyn, New York, Pop Smoke ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale nel 2018 pubblicando mixtape come "Meet the Woo" e "Meet the Woo 2". Il suo stile rap caratterizzato da flow aggressivo, testi cuciti con realismo urbano e sonorità dark lo hanno reso rapidamente popolare. Il successo è arrivato nel 2019 con il singolo "Welcome to the Party", che ha raggiunto le classifiche internazionali e ha attirato l'attenzione di artisti come Nicki Minaj e Skepta.
