Quarashi è un gruppo musicale islandese formatosi a Reykjavík nel 1996. Il gruppo, composto da Einar Örn Benediktsson (voce), Snorri Helgason (chitarra) e Þórður Ingi Björnsson (batteria), ha raggiunto la popolarità internazionale con il singolo "We Will Rock You" del 2001, una reinterpretazione del brano dei Queen. La loro musica è caratterizzata da un mix di rock alternativo, elettronica e influenze islandesi tradizionali. Quarashi ha pubblicato cinque album in studio fino al 2005, anno dello scioglimento. Nel 2016 la band si è ricostituita e ha continuato a produrre musica. Tra i brani più noti del gruppo ricordiamo "We Will Rock You", "The Sun Is Shining" e "I'm Not Your Man".
L'11 luglio Teddy Reno ha compiuto 100 anni! E' il primo cantante italiano a raggiungere questo traguardo.
