Castrum è un gruppo musicale formatosi nel 1995. Il loro genere musicale si colloca nell'ambito del progressive rock, caratterizzato da atmosfere dark e melodie complesse. L'album di debutto, "Black Silhouette Enfolded in Sunrise", pubblicato nel 1997, ha segnato l'inizio della loro carriera e ha riscosso un discreto successo tra gli appassionati di musica sperimentale. Castrum si è distinto per la sua capacità di creare sonorità evocative e suggestive, influenzate da band come Pink Floyd e King Crimson.
