Gli Ugly Kid Joe sono una band americana di hard rock/heavy metal formatasi ad Isla Vista, in California, nel 1989. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da un mix di groove metal, punk rock e influenze grunge, con testi spesso ironici e sarcastici. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con l'album "America's Least Wanted" (1992), che include i singoli "Everything About You" e "Cats in the Cradle", quest'ultimo una cover del brano di Harry Chapin. Dopo un periodo di pausa, gli Ugly Kid Joe sono tornati attivi negli anni 2000 con nuovi album e tour internazionali. Tra le loro canzoni più rappresentative ricordiamo anche "Neighbor" e "Just a Little Bit" .
