I'm the unsung hero in this tragedy
mixed with drama and comedy
so you think you've got the best of me
you can pick your friends but not your enemies
but I've got both with friends like these
so tell me are you listening
It's the greatest use of the same excuse
The worst betrayal in all my life
when I thought you were looking over my shoulder cuz you had my back,
well out came the knife
and I'll walk out the front door on my own before I let you push me out the back
Talk is cheap but what I say is will cost
so please keep your words sweet and soft
in case you have to eat them all
Don't stick to your guns with an empty clip
cuz I'm nursing a hate with your name on it
and are you ready for this?
greatest use of the same excuse
The worst betrayal in all my life
when I thought you were looking over my shoulder cuz you had my back,
well out came the knife
and I'll walk out the front door on my own before I let you push me out the back
It's just business said my brother you will never find another
let's keep excuses to a minimum why you always look out for number one
you're in the lap of the majority
but this is my side of the story
despite all your best intentions
some things are worth losing
The worst betrayal in all my life
when I thought you were looking over my shoulder cuz you had my back,
well out came the knife
and I'll walk out the front door on my own before I let you push me out the back
