Underworld è un gruppo musicale britannico di musica elettronica formatosi a Londra nel 1980 da Karl Hyde e Rick Smith. Nel corso degli anni, il gruppo ha sperimentato con diversi generi, passando dal techno al house all'ambient, influenzando profondamente la scena musicale elettronica mondiale. La loro fama internazionale è esplosa nel 1996 grazie al brano "Born Slippy .NUXX", utilizzato nella colonna sonora del film cult *Trainspotting*. Altri brani celebri includono "Rez" e "King of the Beats". Darren Emerson si unì al gruppo nel 1992, contribuendo alla loro evoluzione musicale fino al suo abbandono nel 2005.
