Il progetto musicale è nato dall'idea di **Kellin Quinn**, cantante e chitarrista noto per il suo lavoro con i **Sleeping With Sirens**. Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows si caratterizza per un sound che fonde elementi di metalcore, post-hardcore e elettronica, creando un'atmosfera oscura e introspettiva.
