Gli Skylark sono una band italiana di power metal originaria di Milano, formatasi nel 1994 grazie all'iniziativa del tastierista Eddy Antonini. Il gruppo ha raggiunto un discreto successo nell'ambito della scena musicale metal europea, pubblicando diversi album e partecipando a numerosi festival. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da melodie epiche, riff di chitarra potenti e testi spesso ispirati a temi fantasy e mitologici. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Last Stand", "Wings of Freedom" e "Eternal Flame". Gli Skylark hanno collaborato con artisti come Luca Turilli (Rhapsody) e Fabio Lione (DragonForce).

Il 28 aprile 1986 la cantante Graziella Franchini, in arte Lolita, veniva ritrovata esanime e sfigurata nella camera del residence di Lamezia Terme in cui viveva ormai da un pò di tempo. L'omicidio è rimasto privo di colpevoli.
