Anthem è un gruppo hard rock formatosi nel 1980 a Los Angeles, California. Il loro sound si caratterizza per riff heavy, melodie orecchiabili e testi spesso incentrati su temi di libertà e ribellione. Tra i brani più noti figurano "Heavy Metal Anthem", "Bound to Break" e "Immortal Bind". L'album di debutto omonimo del 1980 ha segnato l'inizio della loro carriera, seguita da altri lavori come "Domestic Booty" (1982) e "The Best of Anthem" (1984).
