Spooks è stato un gruppo hip-hop/R and B attivo alla fine degli anni '90. Dopo aver ottenuto successo in tutta Europa con il loro album S.I.O.S.O.S., Vol. 1, Spooks ha riscosso un grande successo con il singolo "Things I've Seen" (presente nel film di Laurence Fishburne Once in the Life). Water-Water è uscito dal gruppo prima del secondo album Faster Than You Know e è morto in un incidente d'auto poco prima della sua uscita. Il gruppo si è sciolto poco dopo, senza più notizie dei suoi membri. Nel 2009 Ming Xia è apparso nell'album di Chali 2na Fish Outta Water.
