[Intro]
Oh na na, Oh na na, na na (4x)
[Verse 1]
Eighteen and he was sent from home
To fight a war that was not his own
He was fightin for his life paid the ultimate price
Now his mother's all alone
They brought a flag to her door
Sayin, she won't see his only son anymore
Now how she's 'pose to make it when her precious heart she hates it
I heart's that broken to the core
[Chorus]
Do you hear the world cryin'
'Cause our people are dyin'
But things will get better, they'll get better if we stick together
And together we'll sing
Na na
Oh na na, Oh na na, na na (4x)
If we singin
Oh na na, Oh na na, na na (4x)
[Verse 2]
She has four kids she's a wife
But she seems to be loosin' the fight
She's dyin' with cancer and the doctor has the answer
Soon with the angels she flies
It was his very first time
And from her love he was blind
She won't go without a comment
So he doesn't see a problem
Test come back he cannot rewind
[Chorus]
Do you hear the world cryin'
'Cause our people are dyin'
But things will get better, they'll get better if we stick together
And together we'll sing
Na na
Oh na na, Oh na na, na na (4x)
We singin'
Oh na na, Oh na na, na na (4x) Ohh na
