I Sugarcubes sono stati un gruppo musicale alternativo rock islandese attivo dal 1986 al 1992. Fondati a Reykjavík, il gruppo era guidato dalla cantante e compositrice Björk, che si distinse per la sua voce eterea e le performance teatrali. La band ha raggiunto una certa popolarità internazionale grazie all'album "Life's Too Good" (1988), che includeva il singolo di successo "Birthday".
