Living Death è stata una band heavy metal tedesca proveniente da Velbert, attiva dal principio degli anni '80 fino agli inizi degli anni '90. Nonostante la breve durata della loro carriera, hanno lasciato un segno significativo nel panorama musicale tedesco dell'epoca. Il loro sound era caratterizzato da riff pesanti, batteria potente e vocalità aggressiva, influenzati dal thrash metal emergente. Sebbene non abbiano raggiunto una fama internazionale, Living Death ha goduto di una solida base di fan in Germania e ha contribuito a plasmare il movimento heavy metal locale. Tra i loro brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Bloodlust", "Metal Massacre" e "Death's Embrace".
