Graham Parker è un cantautore e musicista inglese nato a Londra nel 1950. Dopo un decennio di esibizioni con band locali, nel 1975 il fondatore di Stiff Records, Dave Robinson, lo ha riunito con i chitarristi Brinsley Schwarz e Martin Belmont, il tastierista Bob Andrews, il bassista Andrew Bodnar e il batterista Steve Goulding. Il risultato è stato Graham Parker and the Rumour, una band che ha raggiunto un notevole successo negli anni '70 e '80. Parker è noto per la sua scrittura incisiva e le sue performance energiche, influenzato da artisti come Elvis Costello e The Kinks. I suoi album più importanti includono "Stick to Me", "The Mona Lisa's Sister" e "Squeezing Out Sparks".
