Anthony Phillips è un chitarrista britannico, noto soprattutto per essere stato uno dei membri fondatori del gruppo progressive rock Genesis negli anni '70. Phillips ha contribuito alla formazione della band con Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks e Mike Rutherford, partecipando all'incisione dell'album di debutto "From Genesis to Revelation" (1969). Dopo aver lasciato Genesis nel 1970 a causa di problemi personali, Phillips si è dedicato ad una carriera solista. Il suo stile musicale è caratterizzato da un approccio folk-rock introspettivo e atmosferico, spesso arricchito da arrangiamenti orchestrali e sperimentazioni elettroniche.
