John Alec Entwistle (1944-2002) è stato un bassista e cantante britannico, noto soprattutto per essere stato il membro fondatore e bassista dei The Who. Entwistle si distinse per il suo stile di basso potente e innovativo, influenzando generazioni di musicisti. Il suo talento musicale lo portò a collaborare con artisti come Eric Clapton e Ringo Starr.
