I Brian Jonestown Massacre sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a San Francisco nel 1990. Il gruppo è guidato dal carismatico Anton Newcombe, considerato un autentico guru della neopsichedelia. La musica dei BJM è caratterizzata da atmosfere psichedeliche e garage rock, con influenze provenienti dal glam rock degli anni '70 e dalla musica elettronica. Newcombe è noto per il suo carattere controverso e per i suoi problemi di dipendenza, che hanno spesso segnato la storia del gruppo.
