We are the Young" by Psychefunkapus
All the younger generations have to come to understand
that the future of our nations lies within our very hands
If we all join in together to discuss our every need
we could rid this world forever of politics and greed
Power hungry politicians can't accept the way we live
Much too deep in prohibitions to donate a chance to give
I can't help but feel the sorrow, feel the pity and the shame
for the children of tomorrow, 'cause it's them who'll take the blame
Inclination, motivation, that's how we can change the world
Reconstruction for the function for our future boys and girls
Can't you see it's up to you and me?
We are the young
generation of the place, you know
it's time that we take a stand
We are the young
We are the young
and we can make this a better land
We are the young
This song has got a rhythm
This song has got a message too
We are the young
and what you do with what you learn
is totally up to you
We must gain or disposition of the way we feel we've been
We must seek out oppositions in this world we're living in
Got to put our dreams in motion, despite what others say
'cause it's effective self-devotion that will make a better day
Let's not
judge ourselves by color, by religion, or by sex
Let's reach out to one another and bring out our very best
We beleive in what we're saying, so put your trust in us
we express ourselves by playing, we're called Psychefunkapus
Inclination, motivation, that's how we can change the world
Reconstruction for the function for our future boys and girls
Can't you see it's up to you and me?
We are the young
generation of the place, you know
I said it's time that we take a stand
We are the young
We are the young
and we can make this a better land
We are the young
This song has got a funky rhythm
but this song has got a message too
We are the young
and what you do with what you learn
is totally up to you
Now let me tell you a little somethin' about judgement day
when the flowers and the trees will fade away
when the sun won't shine and the rain won't fall
and we all gotta answer to the big dad's call
but before that day we gotta take a stand
to spread love and peace throughout the land
I said it's up to us, the young at heart
to give this world a brand new start
Communication is the way to bring about
peace to the world without a doubt
But if we don't start today
we might as well kiss this world away
That's right homeboy, hear ya loud and clear
the time for us to reconstruct is here
It's time for the young to make a fuss
'Cause there's no justice but there is just us!
Can't you see it's up to you and me?
We are the young
generation of the place, you know
I said it's time that we take a stand
We are the young
We are the young
and we can make this a better land
We are the young
This song has got a funky rhythm
but this song has got a message too
We are the young
and what you do with what you learn
is totally up to you, we are the young
we are the young, listen to me now
we are the young, younger generation
We are the young, let's take advantage of the present,
for it's a prime time for revolution. Let us join together,
communicate, associate, for there is no longer black and white,
there is only wrong and right.
we are the young
