Camel è una band britannica di progressive rock formatasi nel 1971. I membri fondatori erano il chitarrista Andy Latimer, il batterista Andy Ward, il bassista Doug Ferguson e il tastierista Peter Bardens. La musica di Camel si caratterizza per atmosfere malinconiche e melodie avvolgenti, spesso accompagnate da un uso raffinato degli strumenti a fiato. Tra i loro album più importanti ricordiamo "Moonmadness" (1976), con il brano rappresentativo "Freefall", e "Mirage" (1974). La band ha attraversato diverse fasi di evoluzione nel corso della sua carriera, ma è sempre rimasta fedele al suo sound distintivo.

Il 28 aprile 1986 la cantante Graziella Franchini, in arte Lolita, veniva ritrovata esanime e sfigurata nella camera del residence di Lamezia Terme in cui viveva ormai da un pò di tempo. L'omicidio è rimasto privo di colpevoli.

Il primo pubblicato originariamente nel 1997 torna oggi in versione doppio vinile 180 grammi e CD.
