Tavares è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere R and B, disco, funk e soul formato da cinque fratelli capeverdiani americani originari di New Bedford, nel Massachusetts. Attivi dal 1960 fino agli anni '80, hanno raggiunto il successo internazionale con brani come «It Only Takes a Minute», «Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel» e «She's Gone».
