That day that I say I woke up to find a heap of mist
I wake up that day with a shark
Not knowing if I’ve been asleep for moments, minutes or millennia
I look around, all plants have lived it and died
Did you spiral in the sink?
They are livid and dried
Even in the glass, he looked at me
He says weaver can’t be flied
And I care about dream
The terrible thing that I did in that dream
The thing that woke me up
I ask myself, did I do that terrible thing only in my dream?
Or is the dream simply a hard brink bit of self-deception
When in I dream that I only did the terrible thing that I did
In a dream
What part of the dream is true?
What part of the truth is a dream?
I throw out the coffee to drink the soup
But there are wonders I have to know
I run this happening
I launch myself like a jet pilot jerkin himself from the doom in the far earth below
I throw myself through the door
I fall down the hall
I turn up through the steps
Turn up through the steps
Round the corner, stumbling and flailing
Fumes and exhaust, blackened fluid smoke below it
Running for the bus I cry
Oh God bless love
I have been on that non-stop
Happiness
In that terrible dream
The terrible thing I did in that dream
The thing that woke me up
I ask myself, did I do that terrible thing only in my dream?
Or is the dream simply a hard brink bit of self-deception
When in I dream that I only did the terrible thing that I did
In a dream
In a dream
In a dream
What part of the dream is true?
What part of the truth is a dream?
What part of the dream is true?
What part of the truth is a dream?
What part of the dream is true?
What part of the truth is a dream?
What part of the truth is a dream?
What part of the truth is a dream?
What part of the truth is a dream?
Round the corner, stumbling and flailing
Fumes and exhaust, blackened fluid smoke below it
Running for the bus I cry
Oh God bless love
I have been on this all night non-stop
I have been on this all night non-stop
