Abydos è un gruppo musicale hard rock tedesco attivo dal 1987. Il gruppo è noto per il suo sound heavy metal con influenze progressive e melodie orecchiabili. Andy Kuntz, voce del gruppo, è considerato uno dei cantanti più virtuosi del genere. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Abydos figurano "The Last Stand", "Tears of the World" e "Beyond the Horizon".
