Within Temptation è un gruppo musicale symphonic metal olandese formatosi a Wijchen nel 1996. La band, guidata dalla voce potente di Sharon den Adel e dal talento musicale di Robert Westerholt, ha raggiunto fama internazionale grazie all'unione di melodie rock con elementi classici, orchestrali e gotici. I loro album, come "Enter", "Mother Earth" e "The Heart of Everything", hanno conquistato le classifiche in Europa e oltre, consolidando il loro posto tra i pilastri del symphonic metal. Within Temptation è noto per la sua atmosfera teatrale durante i concerti, con coreografie elaborate e un'imponente scenografia. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Ice Queen", "Stand My Ground" e "What Have You Done".
