(Hook)
I'm comin from where our families didn't have a lot
But we had to hustle, made just an awful lot
Went from stealin cars, now we peelin off them lots
This little money gon last but what's enough for start?
And the chance of getting money, it don't come a lot
So I need a lot, I need a lot
So I need a lot, I need a lot
And the chance of getting money, it don't come a lot
(Verse)
I'm comin from where our families didn't have a lot
I'm talkin empty kitchens, with a couple pots
Shit forced me out the crib so I played the block
Back and forth non-stop, I'm on the clock
Seein Chevy Wessons you could hear a penny drop
And ain't got time for emotions, try and you getting dropped
And I done started off with nothing, flipped that to a lot
And even when we at the top we still post on them blocks
And I'd risk it all and I'd get it back
And I lost some people killed cus they ain't coming back
And I'd risk it all then get it back
And I lost some people, bet we get them niggas back
(Hook)
I'm comin from where our families didn't have a lot
But we had to hustle, made just an awful lot
Went from stealin cars, now we peelin off them lots
This little money gon last but what's enough for start?

So I need a lot, I need a lot
So I need a lot, I need a lot
And the chance of getting money, it don't come a lot
(Verse)
My pockets need a lot, my peoples need a lot
Do anything and for my son I break my back a lot
In kitchen breaking pots, swear I did that a lot
And can't forget from where I came and swear I learned a lot
Set like a family block, put work at different spots
Spend nights at different spots, I swear that I did that a lot
We pull off lots of drops and go straight to the spot
Money come, money goes and I seen that a lot
But now shit ain't the same, a lot of shit done changed
But I remain the same, they don't do that a lot
But now shit ain't the same, a lot of shit done changed
But I remain the same
(Hook)
I'm comin from where our families didn't have a lot
But we had to hustle, made just an awful lot
Went from stealin cars, now we peelin off them lots
