Dr. Dre, pseudonimo di Andre Romelle Young, è un musicista, produttore discografico ed imprenditore statunitense nato a Compton, California, nel 1965. Considerato uno dei pionieri del genere gangsta rap e della West Coast hip hop, Dr. Dre ha avuto un impatto significativo sulla musica contemporanea. Iniziò la sua carriera come DJ negli anni '80, collaborando con artisti come N.W.A. e Eazy-E.
