Special Ed, pseudonimo di Edward Archer, è un rapper statunitense nato a Brooklyn, New York City. Emerse negli anni '90 con un sound hip hop caratterizzato da rime intricate e testi spesso ironici e satirici. Il suo album di debutto, *Legalize It*, pubblicato nel 1991, raggiunse il successo commerciale grazie al singolo "I Got It Made". Special Ed è noto per aver collaborato con artisti come LL Cool J e Big Daddy Kane.
