Relaxed and I slipped, can't retract what I did
But the fact is these kids caught me snached from his grip

Just hopin christian might pray for a brother before they criticize

Doin shows and tours til my posse told me to pause
Praise the lord, when I showed him it all
He should have showed me the door
Instead he showed me that these shoulders were broad, to bear me

I know where I went wrong, pride was my pitfall

Forsakin' all the basics, I raced into a brick wall
When I got free, took a trip to Cali
Stayed with my sister, she was living in the valley
That was nothing new 'cause I was livin' in the valley
And I could feel the pressure, man boxin' like Ali
But I had His protection like 'bob, weave, bob, weave'
I was really weak, but The Shepherd was beside me
Technically, that was really all that I need-ed
My greatest comfort was knowing that He would not leave
Now I'm down on my knees, surrendered and my arms is up
And He's workin' on me 'til I'm as strong as an armored truck
Cause His committment is to finish what He said from the beginnin'
I'm surrendered and committed, let's get it. (ah!)

Now I'm back from the bottom,
Only my God can turn tragedy to triumph
Got too relaxed, man and that was the problem
I was tryin to pour out with a crack in the bottle
When there's a crack in the bottle, man, the water leaks
Any house'll crumble if the mortars weak
Now I understand the false sense of security
Standin on sand, on sand like a Florida beach
Turn the page, next-chapter, caught a plane, left
Came back to Philly, looked around like 'what a train-wreck'
But I knew that God would fix it if I laid back
Sure enough, eveything I lost Jesus gave back
Chyeah, and that's the essence of grace
Got my life back, ressurected from the grave
Got my wife back, so for the rest of my days
