Telekinesis è il progetto musicale indie rock del cantautore statunitense Michael Benjamin Lerner, attivo dal 2008. Lerner, originario di Seattle, ha iniziato a pubblicare musica online sotto il nome Telekinesis nel 2007, guadagnandosi rapidamente una folta fanbase grazie al suo sound caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Il suo album di debutto, *Telekinesis*, è stato pubblicato nel 2008 e ha ricevuto un'accoglienza positiva dalla critica. Nel corso degli anni, Telekinesis ha pubblicato altri tre album: *12 Desperate Straight Lines* (2010), *Ad Infinitum* (2013) e *The Imperfect World* (2018). Lerner è noto per la sua capacità di creare atmosfere evocative e coinvolgenti attraverso l'uso di sintetizzatori, chitarre elettriche e percussioni.
