I love my mother
For all the things shes not
But mostly for who she is
I love my father
For all the things hes thought
But really for the things he did
I love my piano
I wasnt ever taught
Still I think Im gonna live
All things that those who wait
Take time to find your way
Half the answers
Are failing your mistakes
Even when youre wrong I think youre great
I love my brother
Hes always taking shit
Hes just not like the other kids
I love my sister
For always making things
She even made a brother outta me, sweet kid
I love this feeling
Ive got something to give
And no I think Im gonna live
All things to those who wait
Take time to find your way
Some say
The truth is not so plain
Dont confuse your truth with your pain
You can take your life
Say it isnt straight
They aint gonna change your shape
I love my drummer
And all the things he plays
I wrote it in half-time just to say Thanks
I love my bassist
Represent the western states
I think they sent an angel from the old Salt Lake
I love my guitarist
His chops from outer space
He can make my 3 chords sound like 8
All things to those who wait
Take time to find your way
All things to those who wait
Take time to find your way
To all the bands
Meaning what they say
Its not what you sell its what you make
I love you stranger
It might not always show
Theres a lot of good in you I know
Jets to Brazil was an American rock band formed in 1997. It was founded by Blake Schwarzenbach, former frontman of Jawbreaker. When Blake relocated to Brooklyn, New York, after Jawbreaker had disbanded, he reunited with friend Jeremy Chatelain, and the two began working on four-track recordings aided by drum machines. This lasted until former Texas Is the Reason drummer Chris Daly joined the band. Daly came up with the name "Jets to Brazil," and the band joined Jade Tree Records in 1997. The origin of the band's name comes from a poster in the film Breakfast at Tiffany's, a film well-liked among the band members.
