Antestor è una band norvegese di heavy metal cristiano formatasi a Jessheim nel 1990. Considerati pionieri del genere cristiano extreme metal in Europa settentrionale, hanno pubblicato il loro primo demo, *The Defeat of Satan*, nel 1991. Il gruppo ha influenzato numerose altre band cristiane nell'ambito dell'extreme metal. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano *The Defeat of Satan*, *Blood and Fire* e *Antestor*.
