Centinex è stata una band svedese di death metal formatasi nel 1990. Si sono sciolti il 12 aprile 2006. Erano programmati per tenere il loro ultimo concerto in un evento già prenotato ad Eskilstuna, Svezia, il 13 maggio 2006, ma hanno poi annullato. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del genere death metal melodico, Centinex hanno pubblicato sei album in studio tra il 1994 e il 2005. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da riff pesanti, batteria veloce e melodie orecchiabili, con testi spesso incentrati su temi oscuri e fantastici.
