Nick Cave (Nicholas Edward Cave) è un artista australiano nato a Warracknabeal nel 1957. È noto soprattutto come cantautore e frontman dei The Bad Seeds, gruppo musicale fondato nel 1983. La sua musica, spesso definita dark rock o post-punk, si caratterizza per testi poetici e introspettivi che esplorano temi come la morte, il dolore, l'amore e la spiritualità. Cave è anche un prolifico scrittore, con romanzi, racconti e saggi pubblicati a livello internazionale. Ha collaborato con artisti come Kylie Minogue e Blixa Bargeld dei Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano "Red Right Hand", "The Mercy Seat" e "Into My Arms".
