Necrophobic è un gruppo musicale di death metal svedese formatosi a Göteborg nel 1993. Considerati uno dei pionieri del genere melodico death metal, il loro sound si caratterizza per riff veloci e aggressivi, melodie sinfoniche e testi oscuri che esplorano temi come la morte, l'orrore e la decadenza. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Unholy Trinity", "Bloodlust" e "In the Shadow of Death". L'album di debutto "The Nocturnal Silence" (1995) è considerato un classico del genere.
