Babylon is against me
Jah know I don't need them
They're living here and they're empty
'Cause they don't have no soul in them
They smile at me and want come friend me
But I don't want them as my friends
Wanna buy my soul so they can spend me
But Jah know I don't
Need them (need them)
I hope this ain't too radical
For your airwaves
'Cause my people, need to hear this
When will you grow weary of 'Baby I love you'-Songs?
Songs of vanity
When will you grow weary
Of the same old songs
Same old words, just the same
Just the, just the little words?
They haven't built the man
That I answered to
Haven't made the plan
That would make me do
What they want me to
So he who judges, let him judge
I'm not here to please no man
I'm here to please the, please the
Lord of Lords
Babylon is against me
Oh, Jah know I don't need them
They're living here and they're empty
'Cause they don't have no soul in them
They wanna buy my soul so they can spend me
But Jah know I don't
Need them (need them)
They're living here and they're so empty
But Jah know I don't
Need them (need them)
See they're judging me for all the things
They didn't do, did not achieve
They did not feel, did not believe
That it could be done
Suddenly they're loving me
With plastic smiles they're hugging me
but it doesn't mean
Anything
It doesn't feel real, it's
Wrooong, wrooong, wrooong
No it's wrooong, wrooong...
They have weird ideals and profiles
Everybody always smiles
Everything is great
Everything is nice
They're beautiful and live their lives
'Oh you're gorgeous, love your dress, oh my god you're the best'
Oh my God, Oh my God...
Don't use his name like that!
Babylon is against me
Oh, Jah know I don't need them
They're living here and they're empty
'Cause they don't have no soul in them
They smile at me and want come friend me
But I don't want them as my friends
wanna buy my soul so they can spend me
but Jah know I don't
(2x)Aaah ah ah aah
See they're all but a dream,
It's nothing but a fantasy
It's all but a dream,
None of it is really real.
(2x)Aaah ah ah aah
See it's all but a dream,
It's nothing but a fantasy...
It's all but a dream,
None of it is really real
