Slaine è un rapper statunitense di origini irlandesi, noto per il suo stile crudo e introspettivo. Attivo dal 2003, ha pubblicato numerosi album in studio, mixtape e EP, collaborando con artisti come Royce da 5'9", Termanology e Vinnie Paz. Tra i suoi lavori più noti figurano "The White Man Is The Devil Vol. 2: Citizen Caine" (2010) e "Portal" (2016). Slaine è considerato uno dei rapper underground più influenti degli ultimi anni, apprezzato per la sua abilità tecnica e le sue rime taglienti.
Nella terza edizione di "Nuova Scena", talent dedicato al mondo rap in onda su Netflix, si sono aggiudicati la vittoria i cosentini Flextony e Tigerplug.
