Hawthorne Heights è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere alternative rock originario di Dayton, Ohio. Fondato nel 2001, il gruppo ha subito diverse modifiche nella formazione nel corso degli anni. La line-up attuale comprende J.T. Woodruff (voce e chitarra ritmica), Micah Carli (chitarra solista), Casey Calvert (chitarra ritmica e cori), Matt Ridenour (basso e cori) ed Eron Bucciarelli (batteria e percussioni). Inizialmente il gruppo si chiamava A Day in the Life e pubblicò un album omonimo nel 2003. Dopo questo primo lavoro, la band cambiò nome in Hawthorne Heights e registrò l'album di debutto *Nine Reasons to Say Goodbye* (2004), che ottenne un grande successo commerciale e critica. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo si ricordano "Ohio Is for Lovers", "The Silence in Black and White" e "Just Another Song".
Nella terza edizione di "Nuova Scena", talent dedicato al mondo rap in onda su Netflix, si sono aggiudicati la vittoria i cosentini Flextony e Tigerplug.

E' prevista per la prossima estate l'uscita del docufilm "Iron Maiden's Lost Singer", che riguarda Paul Di'Anno, cantante degli Iron Maiden dal 1978 al 1981, che è venuto a mancare a fine 2024.
