Fort Minor è un progetto musicale hip hop creato da Mike Shinoda, membro fondatore e musicista di Linkin Park. Il gruppo ha visto la luce nel 2005 con l'album d'esordio *The Rising Tied*, un lavoro autobiografico che ha raggiunto il numero 51 della Billboard 200. L'album è stato executive-produced da Jay-Z e vanta collaborazioni di artisti di spicco. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si annoverano "In the Waiting Line", "Where'd You Go" e "Remember The Name".
Nella terza edizione di "Nuova Scena", talent dedicato al mondo rap in onda su Netflix, si sono aggiudicati la vittoria i cosentini Flextony e Tigerplug.
