Passion Pit è un gruppo musicale indie pop statunitense formatosi a Boston nel 2007. Il progetto musicale nasce dall'idea del cantante e musicista Michael Angelakos, che si avvale di una formazione flessibile composta da diversi collaboratori. La musica dei Passion Pit è caratterizzata da sintetizzatori pulsanti, ritmi elettronici contagiosi e melodie orecchiabili, con influenze provenienti dal synth-pop degli anni '80 e dalla new wave. Il loro debutto discografico, "Chunk of Change", risale al 2009 ed ha riscosso un grande successo di critica e pubblico. L'album successivo, "Kindred", del 2012, consolida il loro status di band indie pop di riferimento. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Sleepyhead", "The Reeling" e "Take a Walk".
