Wise man once said: "Never be a label"
If you let them tell your story they'll incarcerate you
They choose to see you through that lense but that's a narrow vision
I really chose to be myself and trust my intuition
I really do write down my goals and bring 'em to fruition
I wish I would sell my soul just for some recognition (Naw)
If you don't lean into that pain it'll get repetitious (Right)
See everybody claim they real but what's your definition
And I get chills from all them stories just trough reminiscing
Ain't seen my father so big brother was my living witness
My momma only did her best to give us proper living
It's for them times I felt alone and kept my composition
My opposition's nonexistent, ain't no competition
This for my tribe this for my guys who watch us from them skies
They looking down, I know they proud on how I shift the odds
I finally got what I was worth I'm giving grace to God (Oh my God)
So grateful, so grateful
I been running on E (I been running on E), I been fueled by pain (Fueled by pain)
Not too many I can trust these days (These days), I been scarred from the game (Scarred from the game)
Use it all for motivation and for mindset (And for mindset)
It's way bigger than myself I'ma be honest (I'ma be honest)
I'm living life like a king I'ma be honest
Them negative vibes I am beyond it (I am beyond it)
I am beyond it, I am beyond it
I am beyond it, I am beyond it (Uh)
Wise man once said nothing, 'cause even science has a certain language
I feel like Basquiat can picture paint it
My observation from this view is nonetheless amazing, giving all the praises
I'm the one in my family tree just breaking all the chains, this shit get tough
Keep on falling down, keep on getting up, wish me luck
This shit too divine, seek and you shall find
In the battle with my inner self
Focused on dropping me a classic on my road to wealth
I'm making steps I took that chance when they would never dare
I save these tears for this freedom when I inked the deal
I'm getting chills that mean my family gon' be straight for real, it's so surreal
This for my angels on them cotton fields
Before this heal, you plant the seeds so we can make it real
I see beyond this three dimensional, my vision clear
I'm going higher 'cause my legacy, I hold it dear
And while I'm still here
I been running on E (I been running on E), I been fueled by the pain (Fueled by the pain)
Not too many I can trust these days (These days), I been scarred from the game (Scarred from the game)
Use it all for motivation and for mindset (And for mindset)
It's way bigger than myself I'ma be honest (I'ma be honest)
I'm living life like a king I'ma be honest
Them negative vibes I am beyond it (I am beyond it)
I am beyond it, I am beyond it
I am beyond it, I am beyond it
