Goatwhore è una band statunitense di black metal death, formatasi nel 1997 a New Orleans, Louisiana. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del genere blackened death metal, Goatwhore sono noti per la loro musica aggressiva e oscura, caratterizzata da riff veloci, blast beat e growl gutturali. Il gruppo ha pubblicato numerosi album di successo, tra cui "Bleed for the Gods" (2001), "A Haunting Curse" (2004) e "Carving Out the Eyes of God" (2009). Goatwhore hanno collaborato con artisti come Mayhem e Morbid Angel. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si possono citare "Blood for Blood", "The Serpent's Tongue" e "Bestial Devourment".
